Iran President Says Contacting New Supreme Leader Is 'Very Difficult'

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said it is "very difficult" to contact the country's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, amid ongoing speculation over his whereabouts and health. Speaking to Iranian state television, Pezeshkian described Khamenei's presence as "a major source of strength" despite the communication challenges. He also said the new Supreme Leader approved the interim agreement with the United States after it received overwhelming support from the relevant decision-making council.
