Squadron Leader Bhawana Kanth Is India's 1st Woman Fighter Combat Leader
Indian Air Force fighter pilot Bhawana Kanth has scripted another first, becoming the first woman to graduate from the IAF's elite "Top Gun" school. One of India's pioneering women fighter pilots, Kanth had earlier made history as the first woman fighter pilot to participate in the Republic Day parade. Eight years after breaking barriers in the cockpit, she continues to redefine milestones for women in military aviation.
