IAF AN-32 Crash: Flight Lt. Shubham’s Mother Recalls Their Final Conversation Before Crash

Hours later, the family received the devastating news that the aircraft had crashed. “I didn’t know that my son would leave and never return,” she said. The AN-32 transport aircraft crashed during a routine sortie while attempting to land at the Jorhat airbase on June 13, killing five IAF personnel. The co-pilot survived and is undergoing treatment. The Indian Air Force has ordered a Court of Inquiry to determine the cause of the accident.
