Speaking about her brother's sacrifice, she said, "A void has been created in our lives that will never be filled. Yet I would encourage the youth to join the armed forces. Even though it is a big loss for us, my brother gave us immense pride." Nivedita, who is herself an Army wife, emphasised the importance of national service, adding, "We should serve our nation as much as we can."
