'Hindus Lick It From The Floor': Rabbi's Remarks Trigger Racism And Religious Hatred Row

Palestinian Envoy to India Abdullah M. Abu Shawesh shared a video titled "RACISM IS A THREAT TO HUMANITY" on X, featuring Israeli-American Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi making racist and anti-hindu remarks against Indians. In the video, Rabbi Mizrachi can be heard mocking Hindu religious practices, claiming that "Hindus lick it (cow urine) from the floor", "bow down to the cow", "bring the cow into the living room" and buy cow urine from pharmacies and some of them are also doctors. The clip is from a sermon streamed on Mizrachi's YouTube channel on October 28, 2026, from the US. The rabbi's remarks about cow urine have sparked a racism row. Sharing the video on X, Abu Shawesh said, "Those who incite hatred against people of any religion or belief, mock their faith or insult their religious traditions are not merely spreading intolerance. They are threatening the very foundations of our shared humanity."
