Heavy rain in Maharashtra's Thane has left commuters stranded at the railway station since 4 am. Although rain in the district reduced since last night and a holiday was declared by the government, a huge crowd could be seen across the railway station on all platforms as well as railway bridges. Many commuters told NDTV they were waiting at the station since early morning and sought clarity from authorities about the status of trains.
