Floods, Landslides Wreak Havoc In Idukki, Adivasi settlements cut off

During the once-in-a-century Kerala rain, the Nallathanni river washed away a road connecting a few Adivasis settlements in the Idukki district of Tamil Nadu. A few houses have also collapsed. With a series of landslides in Munnar and Mangulam, even officials are finding it difficult to reach. However, supplies have been sent to the area, they said.
