Elon Musk Threatens To Sue Over Alex Gibney's 'Musk' Documentary

Elon Musk’s lawyer Alex Spiro has threatened a defamation lawsuit over filmmaker Alex Gibney’s upcoming documentary “Musk,” which explores the billionaire’s background and growing influence in politics. Musk did not cooperate with the four-hour film, which premiered out of competition at the Venice Film Festival. The documentary features former Musk partner and Republican pundit Ashley St. Clair, who claims she was offered $40 million not to participate. Gibney also discussed concerns raised by people who were reluctant to speak about Musk, as well as questions surrounding data access during Musk’s time at DOGE and its potential implications for elections.
