Delhi Chokes Under Smog: Thousands Of Passengers Stranded At Airport

Delhi-NCR woke up to dense smog and near-zero visibility, severely disrupting road and air traffic across the region. An Orange Alert has been issued by the weather department as fog combined with severe air pollution pushed AQI levels into the Severe Plus category at most monitoring stations. Flight operations at Delhi airport were hit hard, with no take-offs or landings since midnight, leaving thousands of passengers stranded at terminals amid extremely poor visibility.
