Chhath Puja | BJP-AAP Clash Over Yamuna's Cleanliness As Delhi Prepares For Chhath Puja

Ahead of Chhath Puja, the Yamuna has once again become a political flashpoint in Delhi. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari took a dip in the river, claiming its water has become cleaner and crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Rekha Gupta government for their efforts over the past 1.5 years. He urged devotees to celebrate Chhath on the riverbanks instead of digging up parks. The AAP has challenged the BJP's claims, with Saurabh Bharadwaj arguing that the Palla-Wazirabad stretch has traditionally been comparatively clean.
