CM Omar Abdullah Reiterates Op Lotus, Says BJP Works to Break Parties

Jammu & Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah said on Sunday that BJP only works to break political parties in states.

Citing examples of the split of Uddhav Thackeray, Mamata Banerjee, and Arvind Kejriwal's parties, Omar asserted that the BJP is now seeking greed for power in J&K.

Omar had previously alleged that a National Conference MLA from Jammu was offered Rs 20-30 crore, a ministerial berth, and a promise of restoration of the statehood of the Union Territory as inducements to make him jump ship to the BJP.

The Opposition party has dismissed the allegation as false.
