Andhra Pradesh Chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, in an interview with NDTV, spoke on key national issues including Narendra Modi’s leadership, the North-South divide, and the long-pending Women’s Reservation Bill. Naidu stressed “India is one,” cautioning against regional divisions, and questioned delays in implementing women’s quota despite decades of political consensus. He also raised concerns over delimitation and population-based seat distribution, warning it could disadvantage southern states. Naidu suggested expanding representation to ensure fairness and avoid dissatisfaction among regions and communities.
