INDIA Bloc Rally Row: CTI Warns Of Diwali Business Losses, Congress Refuses To Postpone Protest
The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) has once again urged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to postpone the INDIA bloc's November 1 protest rally in Delhi until after Diwali, warning that the event could hurt businesses during the festive season. Congress leader Pawan Khera rejected the demand, arguing that if a BJP march does not hurt traders, the INDIA bloc rally should not either. Khera claimed the rally was creating fear within the BJP leadership.
