Kochi Mercedes Crash: Kerala Govt Seeks Cancellation Of Judge's Minor Son's Bail

The Kerala government has sought cancellation of bail granted to the minor accused in the fatal Kochi Mercedes crash case, directing authorities to approach a higher court. The state's Home Minister has condemned the decision to grant bail. Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala said the law must apply equally to everyone, including the accused teenager's father, a judge who owned the vehicle. Chennithala also raised concerns over the initial removal of the culpable homicide charge and alleged deletion of video evidence, calling for action against those responsible. He said he had spoken to the DGP and that the victim's family's demands had been accepted.
