Aviation Minister Ajit Singh says both Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines were in talks with Etihad and either Indian airline could have signed the deal. Therefore, one can't link the increase of seats between Delhi and Abu Dhabi with the Jet-Etihad deal. He adds that the government did not increase the number of cities Etihad would be allowed to service.
