Nepal Floods: In Trishuli Bazaar, Nuwakot district, the devastation left behind by the massive flash floods is immense. A local resident tells NDTV how five houses and a shop belonging to him were swept away in the floods, leaving his family with almost nothing. Recounting the terrifying moments when the flood struck, he says there was barely any time to save belongings or escape. His shop, household goods, gas cylinders and other possessions were all washed away.
