Nepal Floods: At Least 270 Dead, with 1,350 people reported missing in Nepal and on the Chinese side after devastating flash floods. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal shared the latest update on the massive disappearance and rescue operations. At least 800 people are missing in Nepal and 550 on the Chinese side, including 644 foreign and domestic tourists. Among those unaccounted for are 105–142 Indian nationals. The Nepal Army has deployed 2,000 personnel for ground and aerial search operations. 73 Indians are reported to be working at the Trishuli 1 Power Project, while 21 Indian nationals from Tamil Nadu, travelling for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, have been rescued.
