India on Thursday sent a second tranche of relief supplies to flood-ravaged Nepal aboard an Indian Air Force C-17 Globemaster aircraft. The aircraft is carrying around 37.5 tonnes of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) material, including medicines, food packets, generators, mosquito nets, tarpaulins, dignity kits and other essential supplies. The move comes a day after India dispatched 10 tonnes of HADR material to Nepal. At least 165 people have been killed, and hundreds remain missing after devastating flash floods struck parts of Nepal.
