The Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary located to the south of the Ranthambore National Park has become the third known breeding ground for tigers in Rajasthan. Forest officials say it is a major breakthrough, as tiger breeding is a crucial indicator of both habitat improvement and an adequate prey base.
