She was helped by a kind airport staffer who went above and beyond to make sure that she caught her flight.

In a post shared on X, Anushka wrote, "Had a delay in connecting flight. 9:15, I landed, and the next flight takes off at 9:45. I thought I missed it, but an airport staff came to pick me from my first flight, helped with immigration and escorted me to the boarding gate quickly. No one does it, man." Her post sparked comments from others who noted that airlines often go the extra mile to help passengers catch tight connections. Some even shared their own experiences of receiving assistance from airline staff.
One user wrote, "This is what they do when you have a connecting flight. The cost of not taking the passenger is sometimes too high. But they need to ensure the flight is not delayed, or they may miss the departure slot and face more expenses."
Another added, "It's good to be thankful. Anyways, it becomes very expensive for the airline if they miss boarding a passenger in such circumstances, so it was their headache they were so passionate to resolve."
An individual shared, "A few years back, my incoming flight to Mumbai was delayed by 20-30 minutes. There were four of us. IndiGo rushed us straight from the tarmac in their car to the waiting aircraft. It felt pretty embarrassing walking on board while 130+ passengers stared, knowing the whole plane had been held up just for us."
