It is the checkpoint where your passport is examined, your travel documents are verified, and, often, your patience is tested. The length of the wait at passport checks can vary widely. Major international airports may have multiple lanes, yet high passenger volume can result in long lines. Smaller airports may offer a quicker process, but timing and staffing levels can make delays unpredictable. A travel vlogger has now shared how the Changi airport in Singapore completed the whole process in just about 8 seconds.

Sharing a video of the experience, the creator wrote, “I visited 147 countries - nothing beats this. Fastest passport control I've ever experienced, and I'm not even a resident. Singapore Changi, you've just made history: 7.57 seconds from passport scan to entry. That's officially my quickest time at any airport. Ever. Insane efficiency, zero queues, and a system that feels like it's from the future.”
