According to the 2025 Skytrax World Airport Awards, Tokyo's Haneda has been crowned the world's cleanest airport. It is followed closely by other Asian hubs like Singapore Changi Airport and Seoul Incheon International Airport.

With almost 500 airports evaluated based on passenger satisfaction, the awards are considered the top source for airport rankings. The airports that make the grade are praised for their exceptional cleanliness and well-functioning amenities, which guarantee that travellers are more comfortable and feel less stressed.

Key factors include clean floors, neat restrooms, sanitised fingerprint and access points and even tidy seating and security zones. It also takes recycling and trash management into account, as well as the cleanliness of food outlets.
Tokyo Haneda Airport secured the top place due to its strong emphasis on hygiene.
