Tuesday, Mark Zuckerberg announced two new updates for WhatsApp groups. With the new updates, admins will get more control over their group privacy. These changes follow some updates made over the last few months, including making groups larger, and giving admins the ability to delete messages sent in the groups they manage.

WhatsApp has released a couple of updates for iOS users. One feature allows users to post voice status updates for specific contacts with privacy settings. The other feature detects texts directly from images in the iOS WhatsApp app.

WhatsApp’s latest update for iOS devices, version 2.22.18.76, has been displaying a bug, which automatically changes the mute duration from ‘1 week’ to ‘8 hours’. However, there is no issue if a user chooses the duration as ‘8 hours’ or ‘Always’.

Users of WhatsApp will no longer have just one hour to delete a message after sending it; instead, they will now have slightly more than two days.
