Telangana Flags Vaccine Shortage, Says Stocks Left For Less Than 3 Days

Telangana has joined several states in flagging a shortage of COVID-19 vaccines to the centre, and has written to Union health secretary Rajesh Bhushan saying that the state's vaccine stocks would last only for three more days.

India continues to be polio free, the government said in a statement released after a strain of the virus was found in samples of sewage water in Hyderabad. The strain found is a vaccine derived poliovirus or VDPV.
