Sukesh Chandrashekhar, a conman who ran his business from behind the bars of Delhi's Tihar Jail, has amassed property worth crores. Rs 200 crore of it has allegedly been extorted from Aditi Singh, wife of former Ranbaxy promoter Shivinder Singh.

When Sukash Chandrasekar answered the knock at his hotel room's door, the men who asked to be let in were not in uniform. It was only after entering his room at Delhi's Hyatt hotel late on Sunday night that they revealed they were policemen who had been tipped off that he was carrying more than a crore in cash.

Sukash Chandrasekhar was hanging out in his five-star hotel in South Delhi when the police made an unexpected appearance. The 27-year-old from Bengaluru was allegedly found wearing a bracelet worth 6.5 crores. He has a thing for accessories - the police says several pairs of shoes, adding upto more than 7 lakhs, were keeping him company.
