West Bengal's Tantuja has won the esteemed Star of Governance - SKOCH Award in Handlooms and Textiles for promoting handlooms and textiles of the state.

Instituted in 2003, the Skoch award recognises efforts in digital, financial, social inclusion, governance, inclusive growth, technology and applications and corporate leadership.

The West Bengal government has received the top award from the Skoch Foundation for the performance of the grievance redressal cell of the Chief Minister's Office. The prestigious and highest Digital India Platinum Award was given away digitally at the 66th Skoch Summit on Thursday at New Delhi.

Kerala company Eram Scientific has bagged the prestigious Skoch Awards 2013 for developing user-friendly "She Toilets" for women, the first of its kind in the country, and for connecting eToilets across the country.
