The Supreme Court today gave CBI two week's time to respond to Sidharth Behura's bail plea in connection with the 2G scam. Apart from Behura, the court was also hearing the plea of former Telecom Secretary and A Raja aide RK Chandolia to set aside Delhi High Court order on his bail.

The Supreme Court today issued notice to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the bail plea of former Telecom Secretary Sidharth Behura and former Telecom Minister A Raja's ex-aide R K Chandolia in the 2G spectrum case.

The bail plea of Sidharth Behura, one the main accused in the 2G case, is expected to come up in the Supreme Court today. He was the telecom secretary during former minister A Raja's tenure.

Arguing his defence in court, former telecom secretary Sidharth Behura, blamed former Finance Minister P Chidambaram and RBI Chief D Subbarao said being a bureaucrat his job was only to implement the policy framed by the government.
