A Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist was arrested from a hospital in Srinagar today, the police said. Nisar Ahmad Dar, a resident of the Hajin area of Bandipore district in north Kashmir, was arrested by the Special Operations Group of the Jammu and Kashmir Police from Shri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital in the city, a police official said.

Shots were fired inside a prominent hospital in Jammu and Kashmir's capital Srinagar this morning, killing two police constables. A Pakistani prisoner, Naveed Jutt, who was brought to the hospital for a routine medical check-up, managed to escape.
