Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had shot off an angry letter to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh last year over the Commonwealth Games scam. NDTV has access to the letter, dated March 28, 2011, in which Ms Dikshit makes an angry defence in the case, slamming the Shunglu Committee report.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Tuesday assured that "everything will be in place" and Commonwealth Games Village and venues will be made "spic and span" before the commencement of the sporting extravaganza.

The Delhi Government on Monday appeared to blame the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for the mess surrounding the Commonwealth Games Village and the capital's developer also came under scathing attack at a meeting convened by the Cabinet Secretary on Sunday night.
