Teen molestor cop Rathore will get pension for now, says court

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has restored the pension of former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore, the man convicted for molesting Ruchika Girhotra. The court, however said this restoration would be be provisional and subject to the outcome of the appeal filed by Mr Rathore against his conviction in the Supreme Court.

Ruchika Girhotra's family outraged after molester cop's pension restored

In a development that has evoked shock and anger, the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has restored the pension of former Director General of Police (DGP) of Haryana, SPS Rathore, who was convicted last year for molesting teenager Ruchika Girhotra in 1990.

HC defers Rathore's case for bail till tomorrow

CBI ,on Monday, strongly opposed before the Punjab and Haryana High Court the bail plea of former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore, sentenced to an 18-month jail term in the Ruchika Girhotra molestation case, and submitted that he must undergo "some part of marginal sentence" awarded to him.
