UP Election Results: Actor Sunil Lahiri, who played the role of Lakshman in Ramanand Sagar's 'Ramayan', said he was disappointed by the results of the Lok Sabha elections as the BJP failed to secure a majority.

Actor Arun Govil, who played the role of Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar's 'Ramayan' TV serial, owns a Mercedes worth Rs 62.99 lakh and has moveable assets worth over Rs 3.19 crore.

The actor said she had visited Ayodhya in July 2023 and was totally mesmerized by the holy city.

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar on Saturday thanked the family of "Ramayan" serial creator Ramanand Sagar for facilitating the re-telecast of the epic production which gave a chance to the young generation to experience it.

The show joins other popular epics such as Ramayan and Mahabharat
