Rejecting allegations about the removal of references to India's first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru from a Class VII textbook in Rajasthan, the state school education minister Vasudev Devnani said that the revised syllabus has Mr Nehru's name at 15 places in different textbooks.

Congress Protests Against Omission Of References To Jawaharlal Nehru In Textbook

Opposing the move to omit references to first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru from a Class VII textbook in Rajasthan, the state unit of Congress today held a demonstration in Jaipur with PCC chief Sachin Pilot saying that it reflected the "mental bankruptcy" of the Raje government.
