The home department of Rajasthan has directed the state's director general of police to form a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the recent recruitment exam paper leak cases, an official statement said on Saturday.

According to the guidelines issued by the Rajasthan home department, schools up to Class 12 in municipal corporation and municipality areas will be closed till January 30. Online classes will continue as before, it stated.

The home department issued guidelines on Monday allowing 100 per cent seating capacity from November 15. The classroom activities in schools from Classes 1 to 12, universities and colleges will be held with 100 per cent capacity, the order said.

The Rajasthan government on Friday extended the lockdown till May 17 due to the soaring coronavirus infections. The Home Department principal secretary issued the order, calling it "Pandemic Red Alert- Public Discipline Fortnight".

Earlier this month, the state home department extended the closure of educational institutions till November 30. Now, after the recent announcement, schools and colleges in Rajasthan will remain shut for one more month -- till December 31.
