After the successful launch of Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) most powerful Indian-made rocket on June 5, GSLV Mk III, on June 5, the space agency today launched 712-kg Cartosat-2 series satellite which was carried by India's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C38) from Andhra Pradesh's Sriharikota.
