National broadcaster Doordarshan today denied allegations that Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's Independence Day speech was blacked out by state-run TV and radio on Tuesday. Mr Sarkar, alleging that he had been asked to "reshape" his address, called it "thoroughly undemocratic, authoritarian and curtailment of freedom of speech."
