The NRAI had a feeling that Ali could face problems in getting the visa, so the federation had informed him in advance to file his application. Some of the pistol shooters taking part in the competition in the USA are Annu Raj Singh and Heena Sidhu (women), Amanpreet Singh, Jitu Rai, Prakash Nanjappa and Om Prakash (men).
