Senior Pakistani journalist Aftab Alam was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Karachi today. He was a former employee of Geo TV and other local channels. This is the second killing of a journalist in Karachi in a span of 24 hours. On Tuesday, a satellite engineer, Arshad Ali Jafri, was killed when a GEO TV van was attacked in Karachi.
