Farahnaz Ispahani, President Asif Ali Zardari's media adviser and wife of former envoy to US Husain Haqqani, on Monday rejected a media report that she has fled the country. Ms Ispahani shot down the report attributed to her that said she had fled to Washington fearing abduction by the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

Memogate: Mansoor Ijaz delays return to Pak, seeks time till 25th

Businessman Mansoor Ijaz, who plays a starring role in Pakistan's political scandal Memogate, has delayed his trip home. Mr Ijaz's lawyers say he is being threatened. He has applied for a visa in Switzerland. He will not be in Pakistan before January 25, where he is expected to testify in the Supreme Court.
