Navy Builds Bridge

Ravaged by rains during the deluge in August last year, residents of an island in Ernakulam district had cause to cheer when a steel arch bridge linking it to the mainland was inaugurated by Vice Admiral AK Chawla, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command on Monday.

On Tuesday morning, Ivanka Trump put on a navy turtleneck and heels that appeared to be from her own besieged collection, and accompanied her father to the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

INS Trikand, a stealth frigate of Indian Navy, today reached Istanbul on a three-day visit to Turkey as a part of overseas deployment to West Asia, Africa and Europe to build bridges of friendship.
