Narendra Modi Apology To Farmers

The Congress on Monday asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give a clarification on Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik's allegation that he was "arrogant" on the farmers' issue and demanded an unconditional apology if it was true.

Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait on Sunday said that farmers do not want an apology from Prime Minister Narendra Modi adding that they do not want to tarnish his image abroad.
