Valve Says Steam Deck OLED Is Out of Stock Due to RAM and Storage Shortages

Valve has confirmed that ongoing memory and storage shortages has impacted Steam Deck OLED stocks in the US. All three Steam Deck models are currently out of stock on the official Steam store in the country. Valve said OLED models "may be out-of-stock intermittently in some regions due to memory and storage shortages".

Valve says it has stopped production of the 256GB Steam Deck LCD model. The company said that once out of stock, Steam Deck LCD will no longer be available. Steam Deck LCD was launched in 2022 in 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants. Valve has only been selling the 256GB LCD model since it launched Steam Deck OLED in 2023.
