Kashmir Jugular Vein

Asserting that Jammu and Kashmir is jugular vein of Indian democracy, Union Minister Jitendra Singh today said that BJP has taken responsibility to serve the people of the state by entering into coalition with PDP without leaving its ideology.

India on Saturday termed as unwholesome and unacceptable Pakistan Army Chief Gen. Raheel Sharif's comment that Kashmir was Islamabad's "jugular vein" and said Islamabad's security forces were well advised to address challenges from Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other radical elements.

Terming Kashmir as the "jugular vein" of Pakistan, the country's Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif on Wednesday said the issue should be resolved in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiris and in line with United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions for lasting peace in the region.

Describing Kashmir as the "jugular vein" of his country, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today said India and Pakistan should join hands to tackle poverty and disease instead of wasting their resources on wars.
