Quick commerce has emerged as a pivotal growth driver in grocery shopping as 31 per cent of online shoppers now rely on instant delivery platforms and 39 per cent for their top-up purchases, according to a report from NielsenIQ (NIQ).

Blinkit, the instant product delivery platform, will now also deliver the new iPhone 15 to users in just 10 minutes. The firm has partnered with Apple premium reseller Unicorn to offer the service. However, the iPhone 15 delivery service is currently limited to Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Pune only.

Food delivery giant Zomato has denied reports that its Instant service - that delivers food in 10 minutes - is shutting down. The quick food delivery was announced in March last year and the company started a pilot in Gurugram.

Instant grocery delivery startup Zepto has announced Rs 10 lakh compensation to the family of its delivery partner who was killed in a hit-and-run incident in a south Delhi locality.

Zepto co-founder and CEO Aadit Palicha stated that this is a snack delivery (not food delivery) service, and his company has no plan of foraying in food delivery that includes full-fledged meals.
