Indonesia Ferry Incident

Indonesian authorities were searching for missing passengers on Monday after a ferry sank off Sulawesi island, killing at least 15, the national search and rescue agency said.

Seven people, including two children, were killed and four others missing after a ferry carrying dozens of passengers caught fire off Indonesia's Sulawesi island early Saturday, police said.

A ferry capsized in the strait between the Indonesian islands of Bali and Java today and TV video showed passengers standing on its side, then jumping into the sea as it sank in placid waters. Officials said 71 people were rescued and at least four were still missing.
