The Congress on Saturday refuted the claims of Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad that French firm Dassault Aviation, the manufacturer of Rafale jets, had signed a contract with Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries Limited in 2012 to execute the offset contract and described it as "totally false".

With Air India seeking a compensation package for the substantial delays in delivery of Boeing's Dream liner aircraft, the US manufacturer today said it will "not write a cheque" for $500 million to the Airline. President and Chief Executive Officer of Boeing's commercial airplane unit Jim Albaugh said he had read reports coming from India.
