Airtel's shareholders have approved the re-appointment of Gopal Vittal as managing director of the company for a period of five years with effect from February 1, 2023. Over 97 percent shareholders voted in favour of the resolution. Vittal currently holds position as the managing director and CEO of Airtel upto January 31, 2023.
