Ghazipur Border Farmer Movement

The Delhi Traffic Police today issued a traffic advisory in view of the ongoing farmers' protest, alerting commuters about restrictions on movement of vehicles at various borders of the national capital.

The Ghazipur border, which was closed due to farmers' protests against Central farm laws, was reopened on Monday for traffic movement. However, the movement is allowed only for those entering Uttar Pradesh from the national capital.

Mahatma Gandhi's granddaughter Tara Gandhi Bhattacharjee on Saturday visited Ghazipur on the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border to extend support to the farmers' movement against the Centre's contentious farm laws, according to a BKU statement.
