"I had read the book several years earlier, during my childhood in school. The heart and soul of the book is very basic. In any country or place, people are able to relate to this story because it is about love and heartbreak. I thought that this story will be amazing for our Indian audiences, who will like the story," said Abhishek Kapoor

We must say that we like the casting, though there was also some news of Katrina being a part of it which was put to rest by the Fitoor actress at an event in Mumbai. "No there is no truth in the story. We were in YRF to dub for Fitoor and Ali Abbas Zafar was shooting for his film so no there's no truth to this," she said

Yeh Fitoor Mera also offers a glimpse of the gorgeous Lara Dutta, who presumably plays Aditya's mentor in the film. The song has music by Amit Trivedi and has been sung by Arijit Singh. Based on Charles Dickens' novel Great Expectations, Fitoor also stars Tabu as Katrina's mother in the film

"We are glad that Tabu graciously came on board. This character would have taken months to prepare as it is so layered. We are thankful to Tabu for coming on board in three days and rescue us," said Abhishek Kapoor. Fitoor, which also features Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur, is scheduled to release on February 12

"I have done three romantic films. So, I think I can call myself that for now. This hasn't been my plan. They've all been different from each other, in the same genre, but different types of films. But I would love to do different projects but people have to come to me with that. I rarely get excited by too many scripts," said Aditya

"Katrina Kaif is just passionate about work. If you see her on the sets, you see that she has the maximum Fitoor. The manner in which she works and the dedication with which she listens and works, shows that she has a Fitoor for work," said Abhishek Kapoor

"Tabu is one of the warmest people and is so down to earth. She is a phenomenal actress. So, whenever you are in front of her, you should remember that you should not lose yourself in her performance but, contribute to it," said Katrina Kaif.
