The new academic session for all programmes at Delhi University began today with the academic calendar of the university back on track after being disrupted for the last three years due to the pandemic.

A total of 105 universities across the country including 19 central universities are going to start the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) from the upcoming academic session, according to the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Delhi University will introduce BTech programmes from the upcoming academic session with a capacity of 360 students who will be admitted in three engineering courses through JEE Mains, an official has said.

DU Admission 2022: The university which launched the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to undergraduate programmes for the 2022-23 academic year and started the application process today September 12, will continue the registration till October 3.

The teacher bodies stated that what was approved in the academic council is different from what was sent to colleges for feedback. The two new proposed alternatives of course structure have reduced the total number of credits in three years honours courses.
