Drunk Man Attacks Wife

A drunk man in Punjab's Sangrur district attacked his wife on Sunday with some sharp-edged weapon in full public view in a market, inflicting injuries to her, a police official said.

A 26-year-old man allegedly slit his one-year-old daughter's throat with a knife and attacked his wife after a heated argument between them in northwest Delhi's Adarsh Nagar area in the wee hours on Wednesday.
